Organization Biography

Studio Seventy Three is a not-for-profit studio and gallery located in Surrey and supported by Community Living Society. The studio is home to a group of 13 artists who work with glass to create beautiful art. The artists come with a range of different artistic experience and have been creating glass art anywhere from 1 - 10 years. The pieces are hand-crafted and then fused and formed using a kiln.

Fused glass is created by using different colours and pieces of glass which are fused together using high heat (up to 1500°F). The fused pieces can be left flat or can be put back in the kiln to be molded.

In addition to glass art, the studio sells art for local artists. They currently have artwork from 20 community artists. The work includes paintings, woodcarvings, photography, jewellery, gem trees, colouring books, and cards.
